Ever wonder how you put a watermark on your video? Or maybe you want to put a logo in the lower right corner like the TV networks. It’s really not all that hard, and Episode 43 of Video QuickTips shows you how. We explain how in Magix Video Pro X and its very similar in Sony Vegas Pro. (you can find links to that software on the left of this page).

I always appreciate your QuickTips and especially appreciate that you use Magix software to show how it’s done. If you’re open to suggestions, I’d love to see an episode about how to deal with reflective surfaces (in particular, chrome). Thanks!

Hi, really good tips pals, thank you. What have to do to keep the watermark in the same position in all the videos i make?

The one I use is small so I just resize it each time, because, as you may notice, it is in different positions in different shows depending upon the background. To have it in the same place, create an image the size of the video 1920×1080, 1440×1080 etc and create the watermark where you want it, sized how you want it, and then save the image with a transparent background. I prefer PNG files. I’ll try to do a how-to episode on it shortly.
